We have a wide variety of PADI courses you can choose to do; everything from beginner to a professional level and even something for the kids. All first confined water skills will be done in a pool-like environment, this ensures you feel secure and comfortable while learning the basic skills of scuba diving. After your first pool-like confined water sessions we will then take you on a fun dive at one of our many sites.
This is the first time your little ones can get a taste of scuba diving. This course is designed for ages 8 and up and will last a few hours. They will get a chance to become familiar with scuba equipment and the basics of diving. After a short pool session they will go into the ocean in shallow water, less than 6 feet.
PADI Seal Team
The PADI Seal Team is for young divers who want action-packed fun in a pool environment. This course allows them to do exciting AquaMissions in order to get more confidence in their diving abilities. They can choose from a number of AquaMission Specialties including, Night Specialist, Creature ID and Inner Space Specialist.
Discover Scuba Diving
Have you ever wanted to know what breathing underwater is like? If so, this course is perfect for you. This is a course you can take to see if you like scuba diving before making the commitment to a full certification course like Open Water. This course involves two dives, one in a pool and one in a shallow ocean dive. You will learn to put on dive gear, how to breathe underwater and some very basic skills to make you feel more comfortable during your dive.
This is a course for certified divers who have not been diving in over 12 months or divers that feel as if they need a refresher course before getting back into the water. The course will go through gear assembly, basic skills and safety skills while diving. After the course you will feel like a safer and more confident diver with the skill refreshment.
PADIs Open Water course is the first step in getting into the world of scuba diving. The course takes 3-4 days to complete and entails numerous in-water skills, self study time and knowledge reviews. At the end of the course you will have the knowledge and confidence to explore the underwater world and continue in your dive training. The minimum age for an Open Water diver is 10 years old.
Advanced Open Water
After you become certified as an Open Water diver, you can continue on and try new types of scuba diving adventures. This course is a great opportunity to work with your instructor to build your skill set and gain more confidence as a diver. You will have a lot of Adventure Dives to choose from, some on them including Deep Water Diving and Underwater Navigation. To be able to complete the course you will have to finish 5 specialities. The minimum age for this course is 15 years old.
If you do not have the time to complete all five of the necessary specialties to get certified as an Advanced Open Water, than you can get certified as an Adventure Diver. The difference is that an Adventure diver has 3 specialties instead of five; as soon as you get your other two specialties completed you can become an AOW diver.
Emergency First Response
This is not just a course for scuba divers, it is also a great course for anyone to take. It will teach you ways of approaching a situation and giving medical help to people who need it. You will get practical skills to practice with your instructor and you will also have some independent study time. You will learn Basic Life Support, Primary and Secondary care and much, much more.
Becoming a Rescue Diver is one of the most rewarding and challenging courses you will take in your scuba diving career. It builds on what you have learned in your previous courses and teaches you about potential situations you can encounter and how to deal with them. If a diving emergency comes up you will have the skills and confidence to manage it. You must be 12 years old to take this course and must have current CPR and first aid training.
PADI Divemaster Course
A Divemaster is the first level of professional scuba diving. In this course you will work closely with your Instructor to expand you dive knowledge and hone your skills to a professional level. The training you will receive develops your leadership skills and will qualify you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers. The course requires a lot of self study and practical training exercises, that are all organized into a structured internship. Prerequisites include being 18 years old, a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, a PADI Rescue Diver, EFR and have 40 dives to begin and 60 for certification.
Not only can you get certified but you can add to your resume of specialties. Here we can certify you for Emergency O2 Provider, Gas Blender, Nitrox, Equipment Specialist and Underwater Digital Photography.
Underwater Digital Photography
This course is excellant for anyone who is interested in taking their passion for photography underwater. Here you will work with your instructor to learn how to use a digital camera in a new setting. There are rules to follow to get your photos to turn out right! Some skills you will learn include adjusting your buoyancy, white balance and how to adjust your proximity to whatever it is you will be photographing.
Have you ever wondered how your equipment functions or how some problems arise? Well this course will go through these issues and many more. While it is not a repair course, it will teach you how to properly clean your dive gear to prevent any wear and tear. You will also be able to apply the practical functions to your gear every time you go diving.
Otherwise known as Nitrox! It is a higher concentration of oxygen that allows you more no decompression dive time, so this means more time underwater for you. The course will teach you how to dive with Enriched Air and what is involved in the process of blending it. Most importantly the course will teach you how to analyze you own blend.
Emergency Oxygen Provider
This is another great safety course to take. If anything should happen on your dive, this course will teach you how to assist in situations that require the use of Emergency Oxygen. You will learn to recognize illnesses that are treatable with emergency oxygen, how to properly set up the equipment and how to administer it to a patient.
This course will teach you how to provide gas mixes to certified consumers. You will learn the physical properties of oxygen, its associated hazards, handling requirements and what cleaning equipment is necessary. After this course you will feel more confident and knowledgable when it comes to Enriched Air diving.
